Steve Koman
Director
Steve is a Director of Jacaranda Advisory and has spent over 25 years servicing the hospitality, gaming, tourism and leisure industries in various management and advisory roles.
Steve specializes in management and financial advice, business and strategic planning, feasibilities, acquisitions, mergers and due diligence, management recruitment, licencing and advises boards and management on an ongoing basis with clients located in QLD, NSW, VIC and the NT.
Clients include successful growing business, distressed operations, as well as third party financiers, government bodies, investors, external administrators and accounting firms.
Having spent time working in the industry (the Brisbane broncos and QEII Sports Club) and also as former director and shareholder of the Brunswick Hotel New Farm, this practical experience, is invaluable when advising clients.
Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce (UQ),is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and is also a Director of a number of companies.

Frank Balzary
Consultant
Frank has been involved in senior management roles within the club, hospitality and gaming industry for the last 29 years in both corporate and localised environments. Frank has a strong national hotel and club management background with successful dealings in QLD, VIC, ACT and SA. He has extensive experience in managing multi-site, multi-jurisdictional hospitality outlets, distressed hotels and Clubs, assisting external administrator and networked food, beverage and gaming offers as well as the formulation and implementation of strategic plans.
At Jacaranda, Frank assists and advises all types of hospitality and gaming businesses.
Previously Frank was the Chief Operating office for the Caboolture Sports Club Group, which was Queensland’s first club with 500 EGMs under one licence and now manage 4 sites with 650 EGMs. His role included the integration of the Caboolture RSL memorial club into the group and the design and project management of the greenfield North Lakes Sports Club.
Frank has also held positions as the National Gaming Manager for Coles Hotels where for 4 years he was responsible for both the gaming installations and the people who managed them in some 91 hotels in 3 states. Prior to that Frank was the QLD State gaming manager for ALH for 4 years.
Frank was at the Canberra Labour Club for 11 years with 6 as the General Manager. The Club has 330 gaming machines and 3 sites including sporting operations.
Frank has a Masters of Business Administration (Griffith University) and is a qualified member of Club Managers Association of Australia.

Paul Clark
Senior Consultant
Paul Clark (B.Com, M Edu, Com. Dec.) is a senior consultant and has been employed in the hospitality and gaming industry for a number of years and undertakes Community Impact Statements for both liquor and gaming applications, feasibilities, gaming demand reports and other consulting assignments.
Paul has 20+ years accounting and finance for a broad range of businesses and industries.
