Site demand studies

The team at Jacaranda Advisory has prepared numerous reports to determine a sites viability in regards to commercial hotels, clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. For some examples please read through our case studies.

In determining the site viability for a new venue, numerous factors determine the viability of a site and the potential impact on the local community. One of the first steps is to determine the Primary Market Catchment Area (PMCA) of the proposed location, which forms the base for all locational, statistical, demographical, competitor and tourism facets of a new venue. Further to this, detailed financial projections (including forecasted percentage increase/decreases) will then need to be prepared to ensure the financial viability of introducing and operating a new venue.

If you are considering opening a venue, please contact one of the team members at Jacaranda to discuss site viability options on 07 3367 1994 or contact us.

Market demographic report

In late 2017 the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released to final results of their 2016 Census of Population and Housing (Census), the largest statistical collection undertaken in Australia. This information collected key characteristics of people in Australia and the dwellings in which they live. The information helps estimate Australia’s population, which is used to distribute government funds and plan services for the community.

At Jacaranda Advisory we are able to manipulate this data provided by the ABS and other sources to determine what is happening in your local community and how it may impact your business. From determining a Primary Market Catchment Area (PMCA) to population demographic statistics, Jacaranda will be able to provide concise information on your local customer base demographic.
